Fresh Local Fruit and Veggies

We are searching the neighbouring farms for fresh local fruit and veggies. Corn and blueberries are in season now. We have fresh picked blueberries from Wilson’s Berry Farm on Pigeon Lake and fresh corn from Bobcaygeon Road at the market this Labour Day Weekend – while they last!

Sweet News at the Market

Sweets by Lisa and Maria are thinking bout joining our market! What do you think? This week they have sent a sample of their famous pretzels – caramel coated salty pretzels dipped in Belgian Chocolate! They are in several different arrangements, each at $3.50. You will find them at the front of the market, next to Linda J’s.

What’s New for 2021?

What’s new this year? Locally brewed craft beers!
We had a wonderful opening day on Victoria Day weekend. It was great to see our friends again and we also welcomed a lot of new faces. We hope you enjoyed your visit.
Our friends from the Fenelon Falls Brewing Company have joined the market and are there every weekend! They have a wide range of traditional and seasonal craft beers that will keep you trying something new all summer.

All your friends from last season are back again: Wendy’s Bennana Bakery, Linda J’s Market, Country Fabric Crafts, Moody’s Country Crafts, John’s Garlic, D&D Meats, Lady Cobraa’s Hot Sauces, Victoria Apiaries honey and beeswax products and Marylou’s Made With Love. And Brandeston Farms is back this year with micro greens and more!
Take care ~ we hope to see you next Saturday at the market.

Kinmount Fair Weekend

Our first appearance in the Kinmount fair was in 2019 and some of our Kinmount Farmers’ Market vendors were there for the weekend with their produce, crafts and good food. Sadly the Kinmount Fair had to cancel its plans for 2020. However, the Kinmount Fair is going to celebrate its 150th Anniversary as soon as it is safe and big things are in the planning. The Fair Committee is working hard to make it a very special event and the Kinmount Farmers Market is looking forward to being part of the fair again
